A dated site that had become a liability

Omnyy is a leading global insurer and part of the world-renowned Lockton Group. But their previous site was gathering digital dust, so slick, scalable and self-manageable UX and UI were a priority. The goal was to redesign and re-energise the Omnyy website to build brand credibility, while giving their brokers login access to vital documents, assets and client servicing facilities. 

After a detailed immersion phase to align around the brand’s strategy and identity, we ran our own Huddle Hack workshop to scope the new website, map audience journeys, and define all the technical requirements. This meant we started the creative process with a clear sense of direction.

A seamless experience across insurance

We then developed detailed wireframes for the new website, using best practice UX to ensure a seamless flow for both buyers and brokers. All copy was reviewed and revamped where needed, before being carefully applied to the new site to tell the story and support SEO. Relevant imagery, infographics and illustrations were created to support the copy and add credibility. This meant the site’s new structure, copy and content were all covered before design and build began.

A new site that ensures success

Working with their internal design team we applied Omnyy's newly refreshed brand toolkit, honing a new look and feel for the website that was both visually appealing, on-brand, and easy to use. We created a new ‘Broker Hub’ section as an intuitive login-only area to access broker-related documentation and information. This meant the main site could be more client-centric, showcasing the brand’s core offer and company credentials. Through close collaborative feedback, we made sure the flat designs exceeded expectations, ready for development with mobile-friendly layouts and brand-elevating design.

This all went to our expert development team to turn into a sleek and user-friendly site that Omnyy could control themselves. Built to be modular and easily manageable, the Wordpress platform was ideal. The site now represents the character and confidence of the brand, standing alone from the Lockton Group and staking Omnyy’s claim as an industry force. Beautifully-designed and user-friendly, the new site works perfectly for the modern insurance market.
